The large majority of our products are made by local New York region bakeries and food manufacturers.

We are primarily a wholesale distributor of breads, sweets and pastries.

Featherstone started in the 1980s with a man and a van delivering bread to restaurants in Manhattan.

Customers

Our team is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a 1:45 PM order cutoff for next-day delivery items. We are also available on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, though access to partner bakeries may be limited. Our office is closed on Sundays. There are several ways an order can be placed.

Current office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM‎ and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The office is closed on Sundays.

All orders for next day delivery, as well as any changes or cancellations, must be placed by 1:45 PM.

We also offer a select product line that can be ordered after hours. For after hours orders, please call our Night Manager after 10:00 PM at 718-456-5400.

For a “bread emergency” outside of business hours, please contact Eli Richman at 914-497-2204 or Lisa Saltzman at 914-438-7077. We will do our best to help you get the breads you need.

The delivery minimum is $50 within 50miles of the Bronx and $100 beyond that radius.

Delivery

Featherstone delivers to most locations within its delivery zones 7 days per week, however, the schedule is necessarily reduced at the furthest points during the slower seasons.

Yes, many customers provide a key so Featherstone can deliver before business hours.

Delivery times vary by location. Please allow for a 2-hour delivery window. Most morning deliveries occur between 3:45 AM and 9:30 AM.

Yes, customers can choose unattended delivery by signing the delivery authorization form. If deliveries are left outside, Featherstone is not responsible for theft or weather related damage.

Yes, customers can choose signed receipt required. In that case, a company representative must sign each invoice. If no one is available, the delivery will not be left, and the customer remains responsible for payment.

Featherstone is located in the Bronx, NY and delivers on its own fleet of trucks within a 100 mile radius, covering from New Haven, CT to Philadelphia, PA and to Montauk, NY. See delivery area map here.

Delivery Issues and Credits

Report missing or damaged items within 24 hoursof delivery. Please hold onto damaged items, as the driver will collect them so Featherstone can address the issue with its bakery partners.

Reports made after 48 hours cannot be credited. If the delivery was signed for, no credit will be issued for missing or damaged goods.

Please note: credit card payments may be subject to a processing fee.

Featherstone accepts checks, credit cards, and ACH transfers. Credit cards include Visa, MasterCard, and Amex.

Yes, credit card payments include a 3.5% processing fee. ACH payments have no fee.

If you pay by credit card or ACH, invoices are automatically charged every Monday in line with your payment terms.

Returned checks or ACH payments incur a $50 service charge.

Invoices more than 30 days past due will result in the account being placed on hold. A 1.5% monthly finance charge applies to overdue balances
